Pancake Boss Review
Hola!
I would like to make review regarding martabak manis (sweet pancake) that's famous at Indonesia. Sadly, at Singapore I feel like this martabak is rather hard to find. So far I only ate this martabak at Jtown and Pancake Boss (located at Bugis Cube). Last time I saw from internet that somebody sell this martabak around Changi but I'm not quite sure whether now they still sell it or no.
Pancake Boss located at Bugis Cube at level 4. The place is not so spacious but the good news is you still can eat there. I've been tried this Pancake Boss at 2015 before I leave Singapore to KL. During that time I believe they have change ownership/management because they did close the store for renovation within the past 2 years.
And since now I'm back to Singapore, I would like to try it again. I take away martabak oreo cheese. I needed to wait within 15-20 minutes till they finished my order. Since after that me and my husband going to eat our dinner, so by the time we reach our home the martabak already cold.
And I find the taste rather disappointing. 😣😣 I'm not sure is it because me and my husband already full from our dinner or no. I found the taste rather flat and not so sweet (quite surprising because martabak is famous of their sweetness and some more I order oreo). If Jtown martabak, the taste is nice but the size is kidding me aka TOO SMALL! The price between Jtown and Pancake Boss is almost the same (in term of basic taste ; martabak chocolate, cheese, choco cheese, nut cheese).
But Pancake Boss have more choices of what type of martabak you want such as pandan, red velvet, pizza 4 till 8 flavors, etc. Pancake Boss have more choices maybe because they only selling martabak while Jtown more on selling solid food (bakmi ayam, bakmi cabe hijau, batagor, etc) and the martabak is more like dessert to Jtown.
I will try one more time the Pancake Boss in the future to make sure whether is it really delicious or no 😁😁😁
PS : No picture provided since my phone got problem. Too bad!
