Babor Facial Review

I’m going to give review about my past experience doing facial treatment in Pris’s beauty KL. This is my honest review and not sponsored at all.

Honestly, I have know Babor from those Indonesian influencer that I follow from Instagram and gave great review about Babor products. But again, they’re influencer and of course they’ll gave great review on product right? They were paid/got sponsored for doing it. So I don’t want to 100% believe them.

One day, my face skin was just so messed up. I always got problem with acne from teenager even after I reach my 30+ years of age. And I was so frustrated and I thought ‘OK, lets give a try on this Babor product’.

Since I’m not going back Indonesia soon, so the choices are either I try the product in Singapore/KL (which I visit very often). I tried to compare the price and as expected, Singapore has more expensive price compare to Malaysia (thanks to 1SGD = 3RM).

I also decided to try their facial treatment before buying the products. I saw from Babor Malaysia website, all those salon that provide Babor treatment and after search for few salon near to my husband home in KL, I decided to try Pris’s beauty (another salon I called, the staff were lazy & said they were busy and asked me to WhatsApp instead. Ugh!). Pris’s Beauty answer my questions patiently & no rushing. So without hesitation, I chose them! Hey other salon, next time please give ‘basic’ service to your customer. Answering question over phone won’t cost more than 5 minutes of your time!

The treatment :
So I did my facial treatment on mid December 2019. After chose the facial treatment that I’m suitable with (I forgot the treatment name and it chose by the staff after she saw my face), I went inside the treatment room (which only cover by curtain), they gave free foot massage (by machine). Then the staff asked me to change my clothes with some soft fabric clothes to cover my body.

And the treatment began. I don’t know how many cream they use but I was totally hooked & impressed with their facial treatment. SO SO SO RELAXING & SO GOOD. Never have so good facial treatment in my life!! Gosh, I wish to do these treatment every month!! The staff was attentive & don’t talk much (except during the end of the treatment when she started to ask some questions to me). They also did extraction during the treatment.

I did my facial treatment for almost 2 hours and cost me RM 140 only (original price RM 280. They gave 50% disc for 1st time customer). Even there’s no discount, with the treatment I got, the price is still reasonable & a good deal!! I won’t be able to get this price in Singapore which gave so good facial treatment. 🀣🀣🀣

After treatment done, the staff tried to sell their product to me, which I wanted to try also btw. So I ended up bought their Calming Cream (for morning & night time) price 490 RM! Thermal spray (can be use as toner) price RM 150 & they gave free gift Cleansing Foam. The skincare product isn’t cheap. They gave 10% discount for month of December. In total with facial treatment I spent almost RM 700. Very expensive indeed.

When I washed my face that night after the treatment, I can feel my face skin is chewy & moist (can’t believe it myself). I personally don’t like the facial foam because I’m not a fans of these foam things so I thought I will change to oil type if these product works for me.

I have some thought with Pris’s Beauty that I wish they can change/add on :
(-)  They don’t have the skin check before we do the facial treatment (authorized Babor Jakarta salon have this). The Pris’s beauty staff just simply see my face & decided which facial suits me. While on Jakarta, they will check what skin type and from there, the staff will decide on the treatment & Babor products (if you’ll buy) and gave suggestion on what’s the problem with your skin (enzyme, etc).
(-) The staff promised to follow up on my skin condition 1 week after my facial. I thought ‘woahh, what a service!’. But ended up, she never call or message me at all πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I’m ok actually. I meant, better don’t say something like follow up service when you don’t have any intention to do. But yeah is not a big deal 😹😹

After Treatment :
After 2 weeks of using, I can say that I think the products works on me πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ’ƒπŸ».  I have quite a lot of small-small pimple on my face (sometimes in red color *sigh*) and I can say its start to get better. The redness start to fade away and the small pimple start to reduce. Its not completely gone but I can see improvement on my face (nothing come easy and fast). So far I’m happy with the changes. Hope in the future my small-small pimple can be completely gone *finger cross*

I’m thinking that day, if I really bought Babor product based on my skin condition maybe the result will be better and faster? Honestly the price is the one who make me back up a little bit. How if after I spent RM 1000+ and all the products not suitable for me? So wasted right.

I wish I tried this product earlier! So, when I went to Germany & Netherlands last July, I can buy & stock their products πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘ It sell so cheap in Germany!! And they did sell in Netherlands also & provide  free delivery within Netherlands area (I have sister stay in Netherlands).

For example, one Babor ampoule in Europe, cost 21.90 Euro (35 SGD), while in Malaysia it sell RM 280! In Indonesia it sell IDR 520k. In Singapore, it sell around SGD 70-80!! So much price difference with the one in Europe. πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺ Not sure why the price became sky rocket high when sell in Singapore/KL/Indonesia. Maybe because of the tax πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺ

I will go Jakarta next month and have make appointment to try Babor facial treatment. I will buy some Babor products there also (Indonesia sell the product cheaper than in Singapore & Malaysia!). I’m not sure if I need to change my Babor products or no, we’ll see what the staff advice when I go to Jakarta next month. And will share my review, if I’m not lazy, hehehe. πŸ˜Š

Ciao!
